- What should i/we wear?
Bratt Studio`s Las Vegas recommend clothing be kept simple while avoiding logos or busy patterns. Bratt Studio`s Las Vegas always suggest layers/textures. If possible, try to avoid a lot of white clothing as it distracts from the subjects. In group photos, color coordinating is best. Feel free to bring a change of clothing for engagement sessions, seniors or small children sessions.
- How long does the photo shoot session last?
Regular photo sessions are 1 hour in length. Newborn sessions are 1.5 hours. Wedding Collections range from 4-8 hours.
- How do we book you?
When you have decided to go with Bratt Studio`s Las Vegas for your photo session, send Us a message letting us know what dates work best for you and what type of session you are looking for. We will respond will some dates for you to choose from. Once you’ve chosen which date and time works best for you, the session can be officially booked online. For wedding photography please send us your wedding date & venue location and Bratt Studio`s Las Vegas will send you additional information.
- When will i receive my photos?
Approximately 2 weeks after your session (weddings usually take about 4-6 weeks depending on the time of year). Pictures will be professionally edited, color corrected (if needed), some offered in black & white and all in high resolution. We will usually post a sneak peek photo of the session on my website and/or Facebook page within a few days of your session with more to follow once editing is completed.
- How do i receive my photos?
When your photos are completed, you will receive an email with a link to view and download your session images.
- Where will the photos be taken? Do you have a studio?
If you already have a desired location in mind, please let me know. If you need ideas, We Are happy to have you look through my location album on Pinterest to get inspiration from locations We have been to before. We love to use natural, available light for outdoor sessions but I do offer studio sessions for small children and newborns which involve studio lights.
Wedding receptions would also be lit with external flashes when necessary.
Newborn photo sessions are usually held at my our studio or We can come to you for an additional fee.
- Does my session have to be at sunset to have good light?
Absolutely not! Although We love the evening glow and the softer light it brings, it is not a requirement to obtain amazing photos from your session. However, there are some locations that work best at different times of the day. We are happy to work around your schedule when planning your photo session. In the fall months when We have a lot of family sessions, We tend to book up to 6 sessions on a Saturday to fit everyone in. We’ve become accustomed to working under any lighting condition to give you the best photos.
- What if i need to reschedule?
Most months We are happy to reschedule your session if something major comes up. Please let us know with as much notice as possible. During the months of August-December We are happy to reschedule your session for a $25 rescheduling fee unless We can fill your spot.
- How much are you able to retouch your images?
We do minor touch ups of blemishes or scars but I try to keep you looking as your natural beautiful self as much as possible. If you would prefer additional editing (ie. minimizing wrinkles, slimming, etc.) there will be an hourly fee added.
- Do i need to pay a deposit and sign a contract?
Yes, We do request that all clients sign a contract with Bratt Studio`s Las Vegas. We’ll bring it the day of the session. In order to secure your session date and time a photo retainer/deposit is
- When is my balance due?
The remaining balance is due at the time of service or day of your session. Cash or check is preferred. If you would like to use a credit or debit card, you’re welcome to for a small fee. We prefer to have wedding balances paid before the wedding date so that it’s not misplaced or forgotten with all the stress of the big day. However, if you are most comfortable taking care of that the day of, please do so upon my arrival to the venue.
- You took so many pictures, do i get them all?
We do take a ton of pictures when I’m shooting. I do so in order to get the perfect shot from each setting without having to swap children’s heads or open someone’s eyes. We do not give every image We take because a lot of them are duplicates. We choose the best images to edit and deliver to you that tell the story of your beautiful day. Portrait sessions usually yield 40-60 images and weddings average 100 pictures per hour that I’m there.
